Radio Control Truck for BeginnersThe hobby is easier and cheaper than ever to get into. You can now buy a radio control truck that is ready to run, or RTR.
In the early years of the rc hobby, circa 1970 - 1990, you had to buy the radio control truck kit and other equipment and accessory such as the radio control system, battery pack, and battery charger. During those days the radio control truck kit comes unassembled. You will actually build and assemble the truck once you open the box. Today, companies are making it easier to get into the hobby by selling ready to run radio control trucks. These are usually 95 - 100% assembled, and all you have to do is charge the battery pack, put 8 AA sized batteries in the radio control transmitter, and start playing. So what are you waiting for? Grab a radio control truck and start having fun racing with your friends. The Editor P.S. Just be careful when buying. There are ready to run kits that come complete with everything you need, while there are other ready to run kits that still require you buy the battery pack and charger. P.P.S. And when it come to RTR nitro radio controlled trucks, some come complete while others require you buy a starter pack (i.e. glow plugs, starter, fuel). In any case, the hobby is easier today than it was 25 years ago. RADIO CONTROLLED TRUCK GUIDERC Trucks - Remote Control Monster, Nitro, Electric, and Mini R/C
